Creating your prosthetic eye is a personalized, step-by-step process. We guide you through three main appointments to ensure a perfect fit and natural appearance:
Impression & Initial Fitting
Iris Painting & Placement
Final Detailing & Delivery
In the final appointment, we tint the whites of the eye and add veins to achieve a natural, balanced appearance. The prosthesis is then capped in a smooth clear layer and delivered to you.
Next, we custom paint the iris to match your natural eye. We carefully locate the iris in the correct position and gaze, creating a lifelike and harmonious look.
We begin your eye-making process during this visit by taking a mold of your eye socket to create a custom prosthetic shape. This begins the fitting process and ensures the prosthesis is comfortable and accurately shaped for your socket.
We understand it takes time to adjust to a new prosthesis, so we offer free adjustments for up to six months to ensure your comfort and satisfaction.
