History
Charles Erickson began his career in optometry with a strong spirit of innovation. Early on, he recognized that stock prosthetic eyes did not adequately meet the needs of many patients. Believing they could be improved through careful modifications and refinement, he set out to create better solutions.
In 1944, he founded Erickson Laboratories with the goal of providing more personalized ocular prosthetics and care for patients.

Since then, Charles’s legacy and expertise have been passed down through generations—from his son Gerald Erickson, to his granddaughter Rebecca Erickson, and now to his great-granddaughter Angel Erickson. Today, four generations later, Erickson Laboratories continues its tradition of innovation, craftsmanship, and patient-centered care.
