We at Erickson Laboratories are genuinely concerned for the well being of our patients and strive to offer an environment that is sensitive to the differing needs and range of emotions patients wearing or needing a prosthetic eye may have. Our patients are fit with a custom ocular prosthesis and given individual-specific recommendations and instruction regarding everyday and ongoing care. New and old patients alike are always welcome to consult with us or ask any questions they may have concerning the personal care of their artificial eye and socket. Our patients' satisfaction is of utmost importance to us.

A licensed Ocularist for eight years Rebecca is a perfectionist. She masterfully creates beautiful prosthetics and is gives comfort to her patients with her casual personality. Trained by her father Gerald R. Erickson a true master of the profession, Rebecca grew up in the profession and understands all the aspects of quality prosthetic eye creation and care.

In Ocular Apprenticeship for 3 years Amy is talented and a wonderful people person. Amy has a unique perspective of her work she is not only a valued employee of Erickson Laboratories; she is also a patient since the tender age of 7. Amy feels that your eyes are such an important aspect of your appearance and should be treated with the best possible care to smoothly adapt to being a single vision person who can live without reserve of their impairment. She also gives that little extra attention to children and their parents as well the elderly.

A Licensed Ocularist in the State of Washington is a medical-technical specialist who has been trained in Ocular Prosthetics & Scleral Cover Shells.

To achieve licensing in the State of Washington the applicant must have completed five years (10,000 hours) of practical training under the supervision of a Certified Ocularist; instruction by ophthalmologists, ocularists, and other professionals; and an examination by the Washington State Board of Health.
